How does it work?

Congratulations, you’re engaged! When you make an appointment with us, you will be welcomed by one of our experienced consultants. Our team all have experience of design and dressmaking and know our dresses very well, to help find the best style and fit for you. They will guide you through your appointment, recommending styles should you wish, and assisting you with trying on gowns. Most gowns we carry are what we call Made-to-Order. That means the dress you will try on at the studio is a sample gown and may not be the right size for you. If you order a dress with us, we will take your measurements and compare them to our size chart. A dress size will be selected and ordered and once your dress is complete and arrives, it will most likely require alterations to achieve the final fit.

Sizing

We carry many different styles; you will find over 100 dresses at the studio! Unfortunately, we cannot offer every sample dress in every size. Our sample dresses are generally in sizes 10 and 14, with a limited number of few styles in sizes 16 and 18. We also have a select few dresses in 20+. If you wish to try a particular style that you may have seen on our website, then please do advise at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee it will be available in your size but we will do our best to accommodate your request.

When to order your wedding dress

We suggest allowing at least 9 months prior to the date of your wedding for ordering your dress. Our gowns are made-to-order especially for you, therefore take anywhere from 5 – 7 months to make, dependent on the style. You will also need to allow additional time to have your dress fitted perfectly to you. Don’t panic if you are on a tight timescale, we can still find your dream dress! We offer a rush service at an extra cost. This cost is arranged depending on how quickly you need your dress. We also have many ex-sample dresses and brand new gowns to buy off-the-peg.
